Electronic Arts (NASDAQ:ERTS) today announced an agreement with 38 Studios, LLC to publish the company’s first video game, an epic single-player role-playing game codenamed ‘Project Mercury’.

A browser MMO games company, Bigpoint, is staffing up its new North American subsidiary based in San Francisco, which opened on March 1. This new office will be led y Heiko Hubertz, CEO and founder of Bigpoint. The 33-year-old entrepreneur will live mostly in the U.S., but will also continue to lead the global operations of Bigpoint GmbH in Hamburg (Germany) as CEO.
