Bigpoint Opens San Francisco Office

A browser MMO games company, Bigpoint, is staffing up its new North American subsidiary based in San Francisco, which opened on March 1. This new office will be led y Heiko Hubertz, CEO and founder of Bigpoint. The 33-year-old entrepreneur will live mostly in the U.S., but will also continue to lead the global operations of Bigpoint GmbH in Hamburg (Germany) as CEO.

Headquartered in Hamburg, Bigpoint is supported by offices in Berlin, Malta and New York. In 2008, the media company NBC Universal joined the Hamburg-based enterprise as one of the major investors with a $110 million investment. The site claims to have more than 100 million registered users millions.
